Rewind Tape Sound Effect for TikTok

About this sound
A tape rewind: the sound of footage running backwards. It marks a replay, which on TikTok usually means the viewer is about to see the fail again, slower.
It has to be synchronised with an actual visual rewind. The sound on its own, over forward-running footage, just confuses — this is one of the few effects that genuinely requires the picture to cooperate.
Before you download: rewind tape questions
Does the footage have to actually reverse?
Yes. Unlike most effects here, this one describes a specific visual event. Played over forward footage it reads as a mistake rather than a stylistic choice.
How long should the rewind be?
As long as the reversed footage, and no longer. Trim the sound to match the visual exactly — a rewind that keeps running after the picture resumes is the most common way this effect gets botched.
Can this rewind tape trigger TikTok's audio matching?
No. The rewind tape on tiktoksfx is a re-created, royalty-free recording made for this library rather than the original audio, so TikTok's audio-matching system has nothing to match it against — on any account type, business included.
